Vicky Sattler, RN, PhD, MN, CEN, SANE-A, TCRN

Vicky Sattler

Vicky Sattler is an accomplished nursing professional with extensive experience in emergency and trauma care, nursing education, and legal consulting. She currently serves as the Director of Nursing Education for CE Hub, where she contributes to the development of nursing educational programs. Since 2006, Vicky has worked as a Registered Nurse (RN) in a Level 2 trauma center, where she provides a broad range of emergency nursing services, including critical care, trauma care, triage, charge nurse duties, and specialized roles such as Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE-A) for adults and adolescents.

In addition to her clinical expertise, Vicky is a Legal Nurse Consultant and serves as a nurse expert witness, bringing her extensive medical knowledge to the legal field. Her educational background is equally impressive, with a PhD in nursing focused on psychometrics, a Master's in Nursing with an emphasis on education, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, and a Graduate Certificate in Global Public Health. She holds several key certifications, including Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN), Trauma Certified Registered Nurse (TCRN), and Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner for Adults and Adolescents (SANE-A).

Vicky is also committed to advancing the nursing profession through professional service. She is a founding board member for the Pacific Northwest Chapter of the American Association of Legal Nurse Consultants (PNW AALNC) and serves as a board member for the Delta-Chi Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau International (STTI), where she supports initiatives to promote excellence in nursing.

Vicky’s multifaceted career reflects her dedication to both clinical excellence and the professional development of the nursing community, making her a respected leader in both healthcare and nursing education.


Travis Dierks, MD, FACEP, NAEMSP

Travis Dierks

Dr. Travis Dierks is a board-certified emergency physician with a deep commitment to both patient care and emergency medical services (EMS). Raised in South Dakota, trained in Omaha, NE, and currently based in Spokane, WA, Dr. Dierks has dedicated his career to improving healthcare delivery in emergency and rural settings. He has been recognized by Partners With Families & Children and was named Physician of the Year locally for his outstanding patient care and advocacy.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Dierks serves as a medical advisor for multiple EMS agencies in his region. His passion for advancing EMS education led him to found EMSconnect in 2012, an initiative that now provides monthly educational resources to thousands of EMS providers across the U.S. He is particularly focused on improving access to high-quality, affordable education for EMS professionals in underserved and remote areas.

Dr. Dierks is a staunch advocate for EMS education, frequently contributing to EMSconnect, speaking at EMS conferences, and appearing as a guest on EMS podcasts. Through his ongoing efforts, he continues to support and inspire EMS providers to enhance their skills and ultimately improve patient care in emergency settings.


Sarah Linn, Director of Operations

Sarah Linn

Sarah Linn is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in higher education and healthcare administration. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Health Promotion and a Master’s degree in Higher Education Administration. With over 11 years of experience at Washington State University’s College of Nursing, Sarah has demonstrated leadership and a deep commitment to student success. During her tenure, she served as the Director of Student Services and Faculty Support for three years and spent another three years overseeing the Office of Professional Development and Continuing Education, including the RN Refresher program.

Currently, Sarah is leading day-to-day operations at EMSconnect, where she remains an integral part of the team. In her role, she is responsible for managing the office's operations and facilitating the onboarding process for new EMS agencies and their continuing education needs. Sarah is passionate about supporting professionals as they re-enter the nursing field, particularly through the RN Refresher program, and she is excited to continue making a positive impact on those making the transition back into the profession.


Sheri Worle, MSN, RN, CFRN, CEN, TCRN

Sheri Worle

Sheri Worle is a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse with a diverse background that spans education, emergency medicine, critical care, and flight nursing. Prior to entering the medical field, Sheri worked as a high school educator, a role that sparked a passion for both teaching and healing. In 2008, she moved into nursing, beginning a career in Emergency Medicine and Critical Care, and in 2017, expanded her expertise into Flight Nursing, adding pre-hospital transport to her skill set. It was during this phase that Sheri truly discovered her calling in healthcare.

A lifelong learner, Sheri pursued a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) while holding various certifications and accreditations in Emergency, Trauma, and Flight Nursing, as well as specialized certifications in Neonatal, Burn, and Pre-Hospital Critical Care. While the list of credentials is extensive, she emphasizes that the most important aspect is the knowledge gained in the pursuit of these achievements.

Throughout her nursing career, teaching has remained a central passion. Sheri thrives in educating and mentoring nurses and other healthcare professionals. As an instructor in Emergency Pediatric Nursing and Trauma Nursing, as well as a valued member of the EMSconnect faculty since 2021, Sheri is dedicated to empowering others with the skills and knowledge to excel in high-stakes medical environments.

With a career rooted in a blend of hands-on clinical expertise and a deep commitment to education, she continues to inspire and lead in both the classroom and the field.
